What's inside the Ultimate Procreate Lettering Bundle?
The short answer is 'a lot'! But I know you're not here for that little summary. You want to see the meat and potatoes and the value you're getting. So let's get started!
I've made a video tutorial that walks you through a virtual unboxing and how to import each of the features into the Procreate app. I also show you a sampling of each of the brushes, how to use the different guidelines, how to use the color palettes, how to create clipping masks for the textures, and even some little tips and tricks within procreate that you may not have known. You can watch it right here or keep reading... skim even!... to see the benefits of this bundle and why you'll love it.
When I was creating this bundle, I wanted to include everything you need to begin your lettering practice in the Procreate app. I know you’re busy and would rather spend your time lettering than hunting down the best brushes, fun color combinations, practice worksheets, and even the important guidelines that are needed. Between Etsy, Creative Market, Procreate forums, Facebook groups, Pinterest freebies, and all the others, it’s a pain to try to piece together a decent lettering package that fits all of your needs and that won’t break the bank.
To put an end to your search, I’ve taken all of my best and favorite lettering brushes (plus some extras) and combined them all into one amazing bundle that I’m sure will be your favorite too. These are my go-to tools and I created them each myself when I couldn’t find what I needed.
First, there are 10 lettering brushes with a variety of styles and textures. You're sure to find a favorite or two from these:
But wait, there’s more! (I’ve always wanted to say that cheesy line.)
In addition to the 10 lettering brushes, there are also 5 guide brushes. Some are lined, some are dots, and some are grids, and some have slants but they’re all perfect for keeping your letters straight and consistent — which is a huge struggle a lot of beginners have. Heck, even pros use guidelines! I use these ALL. THE. TIME. to get my lettering to look consistent. The best compliments I get are when people tell me my lettering is so perfect that they thought it was a font. I have my guidelines to thank for that! I use different styles of guides depending on the style of lettering I’m using and I’ve included them all for you. And to use them you just select the brush and tap the screen. Instant stamp! You can even create your own printable guideline pages from these:
If you’re a beginner (or even just want to try a new style of lettering), there are 3 practice worksheets that include the alphabets for you to trace. You can use these right in Procreate or print them and use your own lettering pens. Each sheet has an uppercase and lowercase letter.
If you’re like me, you might also struggle with deciding which colors to use in your designs. I always have a hard time finding which colors go together. Whenever I see a combination of colors I like, I pull those colors and create a color palette right in Procreate so I can access it easily or I can scroll through to find some color inspiration.
I’ve taken 3 of these palettes I thought you would like and added them to the bundle. Each palette has 5 colors that can help give your designs a fun boost.
Aaaand, if you wanted to add an extra ooh-la-la to your designs, there is a fun texture image that goes with each palette. You can use these with clipping masks or as backgrounds in your designs.
This pack is definitely going to be plenty to keep you busy lettering and playing in Procreate. If you don't need practice or handlettering brushes, you might like the 120 Pattern Brushes for Procreate.
